Marilou, a WFA shareholder and its Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, joined the firm in 2015 as a Senior Tax Advisor, relying on her CPA credential and nearly 20 years of public accounting experience when preparing tax return and projections for WFA’s clients. Since her hire, she has earned her Series 65 securities license, registered with FINRA as an Investment Adviser Representative, and earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner™. Most recently, she earned the designation of Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®).

Marilou is proud of WFA’s commitment to client service even as she continually strives to improve the experience. During her tenure she has led efforts to incorporate new technologies that offer more robust tools for clients to track and manage their finances and enhanced WFA’s communication outreach via WFA’s website and LinkedIn page. She’s also worked with clients to help them understand the advantages of taking a proactive approach to taxes by planning ahead.

At WFA, Marilou values the opportunity to help clients achieve their financial goals. A good day is when she finds a solution for a client they’re excited about and couldn’t have imagined was possible.

In her free time, Marilou’s children keep her busy, but she also likes to travel. Every year she and her husband make a point to go somewhere they’ve never been before.
